This win pleased MAGU Sports Director, Mr Msiska who was in attendance of the match. In his remarks Msiska said “I am pleased that after a string of losses, we have found a winning formula. I am excited that the boys went flat out to restore the lost glory. The Boys outplayed the host in almost all departments. It was important to return to winning ways as we prepare for a University tournament to be hosted by Lilongwe University”.
The win also comes after MAGU She Wolves scooped second place in the MO626 college basketball tournament making MAGU a force to reckon with not just in the academic arena but also in the sports arena. The Vice Chancellor and Administration has promised to continue supporting the efforts that MAGU FC has been displaying with the hope of winning a major league in the country.
