Malawi Assemblies of God University main Chapel was jam-packed with ululation after MAGU defeated Pentecostal Life University with 127 to 118 in a University Students’ debate on a topic “Is it possible for the Government to ensure that all public funds and resources are being used for its intended purpose. Following this win MAGU has made it into the semi final.
The debates are being organized by the Economics Association of Malawi (ECAMA), Oxfam in Malawi and the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) with support from the European Union. They are part of the project called “Enhanced evidence-based research to inform policy decision making in Public Finance management (PFM)”.
