Malawi Assemblies of God University (MAGU) exists to provide leaders with quality and innovative tertiary education that is transformational and spirit empowered with global relevance based on Biblical principles.

Established in 2013, the University is founded on the principle that serious and sustained discourse among people promotes intellectual, ethical and spiritual understanding. As MAGU, we embody this principle in the diversity of our students, faculty, and staff, our commitment to justice and the common good, our intellectual openness, and our international character. 

MAGU educates women and men to be reflective lifelong learners, to be responsible and active participants in civic life and to live generously in service to others. 

MAGU programs are designed to provide an in-depth, advanced, and specialized study in the various fields of theology, modern commerce, leadership, missiology and education in order to effectively train godly leaders to equip them with knowledge and skills which will make them effective in the church, government and industry so that in the end their service should glorify God.
