Malawi Assemblies of God University (MAGU) has two enrolment schedules corresponding to semesters starting in February and that of August.

Application for admission to undergraduate study programmes for both Lilongwe and Blantyre campuses are done in the two months preceding the new semester; 

  • December and January for February semester
  • June and July for August semester

Online Application Instructions

To apply for a place at MAGU you need the following:

  1. Internet acess
  2. Personal email address e.g. username@gmail.com which you are able to access regularly
  3. Application fee of K13,000 which you can pay using Visa Card or Mobile Money (Airtel Money or TNM Mpamba) or cash deposit at the National Bank to the following:

Hard copy appication, plus officially stamped copies of statement of results or certificates (include application fee deposit slip) should be sent to;

Note that the application is only meant for prospective students who want to enrol with MAGU including those that want to transfer from another university or college. It is not meant for continuing students (existing MAGU students)

What to Study

At MAGU we have 20 undgraduate programmes. Whether you have just finished your MSCE and are looking for undergraduate degree, or you transfering from another university, MAGU has something for you.

What to Expect

Once admitted at MAGU into a programme, the student is expected to complete all the required courses and to fulfill the mandatory minimum of credit hours of study. Degree programmes require eight semesters of four years.

Fees

There are average costs per programme per semester per mode of delivery. Fees refer to tuition costs but there are extra costs like food and accomodation, transport, etc.
