MAGU will consider, for transfer purposes, credits earned at other accredited colleges and universities of “C” grade quality or above earned within the past ten years. However, such courses must be comparable to courses within the curriculum. These transfer credits will not affect the student’s grade point average (GPA) reported on the MAGU transcript. All candidates for graduation from MAGU must complete a minimum of 36 credit hours through MAGU prior to graduation, regardless of the number of credits transferred from other colleges or universities. See the MAGU Credit Transfer Policy for a fuller and more complete explanation on credit transfers.
MAGU welcomes foreign students to attend the university. These students follow the same admission procedures as Malawian applicants except that their documents must be notarized by a relevant Education institution in the country of their origin.
