(1). VACANCIES UNDER DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONS
Malawi Assemblies of God University (MAGU) exists to provide leaders with quality and innovate tertiary education that is transformational and spiritually empowering with global relevance based on biblical principles. Established in 2013, the University is founded on the principle that serious and sustained discourse among people promotes intellectual, ethical and spiritual understanding, which eventually leads to the transformation of societies. The University is in the process of launching MTEC Online Journals through which such discourses will be published. MTEC journals will be open peer-reviewed journals and will publish original research and review articles in the following areas: business, commerce, theology, education and social sciences. The publication will be done biannual, June and December. MTEC journals will comprise of MAGU Business journal; MAGU Ethne journal; and MAGU Education & Social Science journal.
Malawi Assemblies of God University wishes to recruit highly motivated, proactive service-oriented and energic individuals to fill the following voluntary positions:

Roles and Responsibilities
Editor-In-Chief
Editor-In-Chief will be the chairperson of the Editorial team, hence will be allowed to take the final decision in any regard. Acts as an ambassador of the journal.
Associate Editor
Associate Editor works with Editor-In-Chief in managing the MTEC Journals. He/she works as a deputy and also carries out all delegated tasks and decisions from the Editor-In-Chief. In case of conflict of interest for the Editor-In-Chief, the Associate Editor will be allowed to take the final decision.
Section Editors
Section Editors will be assigned manuscripts by the Editor-In-Chief or Associate Editor for sending it to reviewers depending on their expertise. They will oversee the assignment and review process, and serve as reviewers in some cases.
Qualification and Experience
- Holder of PhD in any of the following fields: Research Methods and Biostatistics, Theology, Economics, Commerce, Education, Social Science or any related field (Minimum of Master’s degree for the Section Editors).
- Must have published in peer reviewed journals (Atleast 10 for EiC; 6 for Associate Editor; 4 for Section Editor)
- Should hold academic position in University, Research Institute or other such organisations dealing with research

The Malawi Assemblies of God University (MAGU), an affiliate of the Malawi Assemblies of God was established to provide a high level system of education driven by strong Christian values and standards. The University is registered, recognized and accredited by Malawi Government through National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). MAGU is urgently seeking to fill the following vacant positions:
